Today, special attention is paid to strengthening the country's defense capability, comprehensive support of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, full-scale construction of new military camps and their arrangement are being carried out. Awning-mobile complexes were previously developed according to the Technical Design Assignment of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for servicing military machinery and equipment. They have a single-span (without internal supports), prefabricated structure with bolted connections, which is absolutely necessary for military equipment. Mobility is expressed in the possibility of repeated dismantling and installation of the structure without reducing its strength and functionality. The metal frame is covered with a two-layer awning fabric, with the formation of an air gap, inside which a layer of insulation is additionally laid. The used PVC fabric of high strength withstands sudden temperature changes, is frost-resistant and durable, withstands the temperature range of -60°C to +70°C. A prerequisite for the coating material of the awning-mobile shelter (AMS) is its resistance to gasoline and oils. Welding of fabric strips is carried out using HFC, which improves the strength and tightness of the welds. The tension of the AMS canvases is carried out by tension beams.

The steel frame is a metal structure made of shaped pipes of various cross-sections (GOST 23118-99, SNiP II-23-81), which are connected by longitudinal beams and braces. Structural load-bearing members are equipped with additional fixation elements, transverse frames, horizontal and vertical braces, which provide spatial rigidity, frame stability and uniform load distribution throughout the structure.

To protect against corrosion, the structure is sandblasted before painting. This method of processing allows degreasing and matting the surface in a short time. Then the frame is covered with two layers of paint. All products are accepted for compliance with the requirements of TU, GOST and SNiP, as well as technical specifications and other conditions specified in the technical documentation. Reinforced metal frame, reliable fastening of the awning cover allows it to withstand any wind and snow loads. The service life of such complexes is more than 25 years.

Awning-mobile shelters are easy to assemble. Their installation is carried out in the shortest possible time with minimal involvement of financial and labor resources. The first to be erected are arches with connecting elements and braces. The structure itself is attached to a pre-prepared foundation using foundation bolts. A prerequisite for installation is the presence of a flat platform for the installation of waterproofing. After the installation of the first spans of the metal frame, the installation of internal awning canvases, thermal insulation and external canvases begins.
